This exceptional Murphy Bear is made of white mohair, with black glass eyes, and
a brown embroidered mouth. Its white lace collar is offset by a grayish
silver bow with an antique style silver button. The body is stuffed with
pellets, while the legs, arms & head are polyester stuffing. The shaved
muzzle and low set ears give this bear a distinctive look. Fully jointed and 16"
tall, this bear's sewn in tag carries a date of 1991. Pat Murphy's bears
have been nominated for many awards, including a 2002 TOBY. Pat sells to only a small number of
stores, usually in small editions. When she's not making her own bears,
she designs for Boyd's Bears. Born in New York and now located in Michigan, she
surprisingly didn't have a teddy bear as a child. You have to agree, she's made
up for that!
Wouldn't you like to add a Murphy Bear to your collection?
Back in 1991 when I was born, we Murphy
Bears were known for our cute low set ears.
I'm perfectly proportioned.

I think my shaved muzzle adds
character, don't you?
