BEAR # 218     ARTIST: R. JOHN WRIGHT     SOLD

R. John Wright made his first crude doll in 1976.  By 1980 his Little Children Series premiered, and his business has grown many fold since.  He produced his first licensed prototype of Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin in 1985.  His designs have won many awards, including a Golden Teddy Award and many others for his dolls.  This spectacular limited edition Winnie the Pooh bear from R. John Wright and Disney was released in 1987-1989.  It's a 14" bear, made of mohair plush, fully jointed, and has his own ceramic honey pot.  He has black glass eyes, black embroidered nose and mouth, and a bee on his ear.  He's able to stand on his own, without support.  He has a tail, and a gold button that shows RJW on it.  Don't miss this very special Pooh.
