BEAR # 31     ARTIST: BARBARA GOLDEN of GOLDEN BEARS     SOLD

Many teddy bears, regardless of their cute quotient, simply can't stand up.  Unbalanced, you might say.  Well, not this cutie from the award-winning Barbara Golden.  He's perfectly well balanced and easily stands on his own, in part due to his "flat feet."  Barbara also featured what she called a "golden smile" in her designs, well evident here.  We like to think he's smiling because he knows how cute he is standing there waiting to be adopted.  Who could resist?  He's 13" tall, made of a brown/black fur, with glass eyes and a black embroidered nose and mouth.  Fully jointed, he has suede paw pads and a small tail. Featured in Teddy Bear & Friends and other bear magazines, the late (we think) Barbara Golden made a real contribution to teddy bear art.  This is your chance to have a piece of it.
Hi! How do you like my polka dot bow? My fur is dark, but lighter brown underneath. I'm always smiling.
I love to tell jokes. See how I stand?
See my protruding rump?
People think it's bad to have flat feet.  Not me.  It helps me stand by myself.
