BEAR # 239  ARTIST: BONNIE WINDELL of WINDLEWOOD   SOLD
Bonnie Windell has earned recognition for both her teddy bears and her rats (she designed the Royal Rat from the Nutcracker Suite for DCAD).  She's earned raves the world over for her creations. This special little bear named Shoo has a problem -- a fly has landed on his nose.  He's got a fly swatter, but how do you hit a fly on your nose?  Shoo is 7 1/2" tall, made of wavy wool, with German glass eyes, and black embroidered nose and mouth.  Fully jointed, he's wearing vintage pillow ticking overalls and a brown wool felt hat with a feather on it.  The fly is made of ultra suede.  As the autographed sewn in tag shoes, this is Shoo #2, created in May of 1989.  The original hang tag is not pictured, but it is included.
Hi! I'm Shoo.  I gotta get that fly off my nose. I gotta hold real still. Like my overalls?

BEAR # 302W  ARTIST: BONNIE WINDELL of WINDLEWOOD   SOLD

No, it's not a bear.  It's a possum.  And a really cute one at that.  He's 6 1/2" tall, fully jointed, and made of curly mohair.  He has black glass eyes, black embroidered nose and mouth, and a red ribbon on his little laid back ear and on the end of his tail. 
Hi. I'm Posey the Possum. Have you ever played possum? I can hang by my tail.
