BEAR # 223 ARTIST: SUZANNE DE PEE of
HONEYPOT BEARS
SOLD
Suzanne De Pee (and her daughter) made some really great teddy bears in the
middle '80s. She also sold bears and dolls by mail for lots of other
artists, including Kathy Mullin, Beverly Mark, Barbara Sixby, Hilary Hulen,
Linda Fogarty, Cat Orlando, Carol Martin, Judy Rossilli, Amy Boufford, and
Miriam Hertz. Many of these artists made exclusive designs for Suzanne's
catalog. This is Uncle Cedric, one of Suzanne's own creations.
He's 16" tall, fully jointed, and has a growler. He's made of a beige
acrylic fur with suede paw pads, glass eyes, and a brown embroidered nose.
He wears a red bow. Suzanne has
autographed
the hang tag.
Hi! I'm Uncle Cedric.
Come talk to your Uncle.
How about a hug?
I growl when I'm hungry.
My nephews call me their
"fuzzy" Uncle.
Sewn in tag.
