German immigrant Adolph Gund
started what is now the leading soft toy manufacturer in the U.S. in 1898 in
Norwalk, CT. It was one of the first companies to produce teddy bears,
back in the early 1900s. This is a big bear, 19" tall and fully jointed,
from 1983. He's a nice brown color, with black glass eyes, and black
embroidered nose and mouth. His paw pads and the inside of his ears are a
light brown fur. He's part of the Collector's Classic
Limited Edition.

This brown fully jointed Collector's
Classic is smaller, at 9" tall. He has black glass eyes, black
embroidered nose and mouth, and a red velvet bow. His paw pads and the
insides of his ears are a dark beige fur. His sewn in tag is dated 1983.
